Quarter Horse Cross Gelding Wrangler, in Mifflinburg PERFECT horse Up for sale due to my husband losing his job is Wrangler, an awesome 15.3 hands gelding horse of unknown breed. He is 20 years old and is a retired 4H/high school rodeo horse. I bought him from his owner because she thought he was "too slow" for her to race any more, however Wrangler has plenty of "get up and go" when you want him to. She stated that he has never had any injuries from doing 4H/high school rodeo, and we have never had any injuries with him. We have owned him since March 2011 and do not have ANY complaints. If I had to rate his temperment it would be a 1 out of 10. He is VERY mellow. No bad habits (cribbing, biting, rearing, bucking, kicking). He is great for the farrier and loves to be bathed, brushed and babied. Trailers on and off well. His previous owners had him updated on his vaccinations right before I bought him (though I cannot find my documentation). His hooves and worming were just done the first week of January 2012. We have had many months of pleasurable trail riding with Wrangler. He has not spooked at anything (cars, tractors, mowers, trucks, dogs, deer). Wrangler has many years of enjoyment left in him for someone to enjoy. He is an amazing horse and we would never be getting rid of him unless we absolutely had to. Paint Gelding Zeus, in Mineral Point 2 yr old trainable, very loving and laid back Paint gelding for sale Zeus is a 2 year old Paint gelding, who has a lovable personality but needs some work. He is young and VERY trainable, but he needs someone who can consistantly work with him at least a little every day; he has received training from myself as well as an few experienced horse people but again needs the consistancy. He stands well for the vet, leads nicely and has been lunged several times for training. He does however need some more work with his back feet, he WILL pick them up but he is still unsure about the whole process and therefore needs some slight work with that as well. He does NOT kick however, he just needs some patient teaching. He is getting much better at picking them up for me for cleaning and just for holding. Zeus is a Very trainable horse, he learns things very quickly and has a great personality, he's in that little boy stage right now where he needs a strong consistant leader and Im afraid that just isnt me right now...he will make an awsome show horse one day, he's already being taught halter basics like how to trot on command(which he does beautifully!)and how to park. He has a very laid back attitude and nothing really rattles him, very mellow little guy :) Great little guy for someone who can handle a challange or if you have trained young horses before, dont let this loveable little guy slip through your fingers! He is UTD on his shots, and will have a farrier visit very shortly. Definetly entertaining offers on this guy so his price IS NEGOTIABLE! a good home is a MUST, I love this boy to death and while I dont want to sell him I know its better for him to go to someone who has more time to devote to him then what I do right now.
