Sorrows End Farm offers professional horse training and riding instruction.
Horse training: Training for horses from babies and up. We start many young horses from beginning groundwork to starting under saddle and subsequent under saddle training. We believe in a methodical, common sense approach to training that is tailored to each individual horse. Training board options from one to five sessions a week, short or long term. 1 session/week = $475/mo 2 sessions/week = $575/mo 3 session/week = $675/mo 4 sessions/week = $775/mo 5 sessions/week = $875/mo For starting very young horses, our rate is $675/month, which will include 4-5 shorter sessions per week.
Private riding lessons are offered at $30/each. English lessons available for beginners and up, on our horses or yours. Emphasis is on horsemanship. Disciplines include hunt seat, dressage, jumping and cross-country.
Trainer/instructor is Laura Mondul, who has 31 years experience with horses and is a graduate of Virginia Intermont College's equine studies program. visit our website at www.sorrowsendfarm.com
