Mike Baker & Shannon Ketcheson-Baker operate Baker Performance Horses out of Mount Regis Stables. We specialize in Western Pleasure, Hunter & Under Saddle, Trail, Showmanship, Horsemanship & Reining. Judges cards are held with the ApHC, ApHCC, NRHA, APHA, AHA, USEF, Morgan, Pinto & AQHA Reining. Mike comes to VA via California where he trained Reining horses for over 40 years. He has Judged World & National shows for all cards held. He is a 2006 Pinto Judges Hall of Fame inductee & former California Professional Horseman of the year and has Judged all over the World. Shannon comes to VA from Ontario, Canada where she has shown Appaloosas all her life. She has Judged in the US, Canada & Australia including the New South Wales State Championships and is a certifed Ring Steward with the International Equine Judges Seminar - OKC).
Judging, Ring Stewarding and Show Services are available in addition to Lessons & Training. We believe in teaching the rider and the horse together and promote a true, professional show ring presence. Only a limted number of horses are accepted. Please call or email for further information.
