Good day All, My name is Taci Hockett and I am looking for individuals or groups that are wanting or needing further equine instruction. I am available Monday through Sunday anytime after 4p.m. to come to your farm, ranch or facility and give instruction from the basic care of a horse on up through the advanced rider. I specialize in western, english, halter and lunge line instruction as well as personal horse training for any horse that you need to have trained or any problem horse. I do not use spurs or crops/whips and I use a passive approach to earn your horse's trust in order to achieve the maximum effort from him/her. I have been training, showing and breeding for nearly 23 years now, shown in 4-H, AQHA, Open Shows, Futurities and small barn-held shows since 1986. As I have said previously, My areas of expertise are in English, Western Pleasure, Halter, Horsemanship, Showmanship, Trail and Lunge Line. I have basic knowledge of dressage and I am currently learning more about it. I am also learning how to train a driving horse as I want to widen my areas of knowledge. I will tell you that I know what it is like to lose someone you love as my little brother was killed by our neighbor's horse because the babysitter wasn't doing her job. My family and I had nothing to do with that incident as my parents were at work and I was at school. My little brother was 4-1/2 yrs. old when he was killed, I was 8-1/2 yrs old. I got back on a horse six (6) months after his death and learned a great deal about horses and there habits as well as gaining a great respect for them and understanding how to better handle any horse. I am not setting any firm price as I want everyone to contact me, I will come out and evaluate your horse(s) for free the first time, determine the length of time it will take me to train them and/or you and base my price off of the complexity of the training needed. I do not have my own facility anymore as I have moved up to this part of the country from the south and I am looking to help as many as I can and do something I am very passionate about. I have also Rehabilitated horses that were completely emaciated back to a healthy happy horse and trained them from scratch. I will not turn anyone or any horse away. I thank you for your time and When you do call me please tell me where you are located as there are distance restrictions that may apply depending on how much training your horse requires as I can not drive 100 miles one way every day to train you and your horse but would be willing to drive that far during weekends.
