You can put a deposit on the spot for reinsurance and a contract will be signed by both parties stating there has been a deposit made for a training spot, and 1 stall at my barn. I ride western style only. I will train gaited and non-gaited horses. I will accept any horse stock excluding draft/warmblood horses (don’t have the equipment, sorry.). I accept unbroke horses starting at the age of 2 yrs when thier knees are fully developed. I will put 30-90 days training on your horse. When I say 30 days, that’s what I mean! I practice natural horsemanship with all of my client/clients horses, I will do the same with yours. Each horse is evaluated upon thier arrival to my barn, given a program that fits his/her needs. Manners and groundwork come first! My training includes: Trailering, standing for farrier, bathing, clipping/grooming, vetting, standing while being mounted, de-spooking, riding the trails, water obstacles, standing while in crossties, and being tied to hitching post/tree. Extra training inludes moving off leg pressure/cues, side passing, barrels, roping. I believe each horse should have a chance. I have access to a outdoor SAND arena, 90 ft. round pen, trails. I will take horses that need a refresher course at my barn. I require a copy of each horses negative coggins and up-to-date shot records before arriving to my barn. If your horse is shod please make sure when your horse arrives at my barn they are recently shod or re-shod so they won't throw a shoe while they are visiting at my barn, in saying your farrier would have to come all the way to my barn to tack one back on. Every client must sign release forms before I can ride a specific horse. My training rates are on a month to month basis. I feed grain and hay twice a day, if your horse is on a special diet or requires a certain feed, no problem. After your horse has completed their training I ask each client to come on watch me ride your horse before he/she goes home. I will also instruct you on how I have trained him/her so you will have very many enojyable rides from then on out. I will take horses that need a refresher course either at my barn or I can make house calls within a 50 mi. radius of Murfreesboro (separate pricing for house calls and an evaluation fee applies).
