I train on a gentle, slow method. I work off of the Clinton Anderson method, Mead Miller method and my own. I mainly work with problem horses. My specialty is bringing abused horses back into trusting again & regaining a job. I also exercise horses for people and I have experience breaking colts. I break and put the basics on them. $350 per horse a month. You provide feed/hay/Farrier/vet etc. or I can provide all of that and bill you for it. I take care of your horse like its my own. He/she will be put up every night and in bad weather. Fed grain twice a day and hay if needed. Fresh water is available at all times. I do not believe in starving one down to train them (they will come home looking fat and healthy). Your horse will also be turned out to pasture daily after they settle in and calm down. Your horse will come home knowing how to tie, stand to be brushed, fly sprayed etc. stand for Farrier/ vet, everything that comes out here learns ground work first before anything. That is a just a few basics I require them to have before they go home. All owners must fill out paper work. A mobile vet comes out when needed and a Farrier comes every 4 to 6 weeks. All of the horses out here on my place are all fat, healthy and up to date on shots, coggins, worming etc.
I offer ridding lessons for adults as well. Bring your horse or use mine. I only teach the basics of riding and taking care of a horse. Must be willing to listen and learn. $30 An hour.
