I specialize in western trail riding and teaching your horse to go up, over and through anything.I will focus on making your safe to ride by desensitizing it to anything and everything.
Your training will include neck or direct reining, fore quarter turns, backing off bit pressure, walk, trot, canter, ground manners (i.e. respecting your space when your on the ground), standing for the farrier, standing well the rider gets on and off, groundtying, going over bridges, mattresses and tarps.
I train young and old. Options include training to sidepass, slid stops, hind quarter turns, yielding to leg pressure, neck reining with a string, parking out and stopping when a rider falls off or loses their balance.Also desensitizing to gunfire and ATV's/cars.
Your horse can also learn tricks including saying yes and no, bowing, counting, standing on pedestials, jumping in a pickup truck, tug of war, smiling and giving kisses.
I will also take the time to make sure you completely understand your newly trained horse.
