GROUND WORK: My groundwork program consists of: round penning, halter breaking, leading, lunging, handling their ears and mouth (preparing for bridling), handling the horses feet, grooming, teaching them to stand tied, their first saddling/tacking, and trailer loading. I am willing to work with problem horses, and can customize the training with an emphasis on the area of the owner's choice. Includes full board and care . TRAINING: I offer colt starting, refresher training, teaching the basics, and pleasure riding training. Some of the exercises I teach during training include: leg yields, neck-reining, counter-bending, counter-cantering, collection and extending of the gaits, softening at the poll, and moving with a relaxed headset. With my emphasis on bending, flexing and softening, your horse will become much more responsive in everything you ask of him. This training option includes full board and care. TRAINING/COACHING: Get the most out of your horse's training by coming for two lessons a week. You'll progress along with him and everyone will be happier in the end.
