My name is Robyn. I live in the Okanogan Valley. I have been a Reiki Healer/Practitioner for 12 years and Reiki Master for 5 years.I offer Equine Reiki healings,attunements and workshops(1,2,3 Days)I also offer a combination Reiki attunement for human and horse.
Reiki is beneficial to riders, for all the same reasons you might use it on your horse. Once you are taught the Reiki method and put it into practice, a deeper bond between you and your horse is another benefit. Equine Reiki helps balance your horse physically, mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually. Working with the chakras to balance their natural energy, Reiki brings clarity, peace and relaxation and can help reduce or eliminate pain. Because Reiki is an energy balancing modality, it will never harm your horse.
• Reiki can help release and heal your horses' emotions, especially if your horse has emotional issues due to a traumatic situation such as neglect, an abusive past, or a riding accident. (Reiki is often used to help animals who have come from rescues.) • For behavioral issues such as nervousness or hyperactivity, Reiki can help your horse relax and reduce their stress and anxiety. • If your horse is sick or injured, Reiki can help your horse self-heal more quickly. • Reiki can help bring comfort and be a great compliment to conventional treatment if your horse is facing an illness. • Encourage more suppleness and flexibility • Improve flow in walk/trot/canter/gallop • Focus before an event • Reach peak performance • Increase energy levels • Accelerate injury rehabilitation or recovery from illness • Relieve pain • Ease anxiety and nerves • Reduce stress • Assist the horse to relax and/or calm down • Encourage more balanced behavior • Pacify prior to unusual situations eg travel, sales or new environment • Release fear present from poor treatment or cruelty • Alleviate negative energy or emotions • Ease depression • Develop confidence • Assist with relaxation • Settle new broodmares • Provide space and time for the horse just to heal • Give comfort • Help prior to, during and after bereavement • If your horse is generally healthy, Reiki will just allow your horse relax and be happy in the moment.
Reiki can be used to complement traditional medical practices, but should not be used as a replacement for proper veterinary care.
