Would you like to go out on a trail ride but don't have a horse? Stoney Run Stable would love to take you out on our trails. At Stoney Run Stable we emphasize small group rides with personalized attention. We have access to several hours of riding from our property including a beautiful scenic ride across the top of the mountain with a view of Dillsburg and Wellsville. We have quiet horses for people that lack experience in riding. We also include a short warm-up for our inexperienced riders to ensure a safe and pleasurable ride. Horses are tacked and ready to go when you arrive! Children must be ten years old to ride, one rider per horse, and there is a 230 pound weight limit to ride. Call us today to schedule a ride!
Do you have a special place that you've always wanted to go horseback riding? We can haul horses to requested destinations such as state and county parks for special trail ride occasions. Trail Ride Rates: $75.00 per hour for a private trail ride
$50.00 per rider/per hour for a group trail ride
$.75 per mile to transport to a park for riding $15 Picnic Lunch

Trail Ride Packages: The mountain Ride: This is a 4 hour trail ride that includes some road riding and riding across the top of the mountain which looks down over Dillsburg and Wellsville. Come enjoy this scenic 4 hour ride at a discounted rate of $100/rider. Must have at least 3 riders for this discounted price.
The Weekend Family Ride: This is a two day package. Arrive early Saturday morning at 7AM. Get settled into our camper with electric hookup and have breakfast. At 9AM we will take a 4 hour scenic ride across the mountain. We will arrive back at 1PM and have lunch in our large pavilion. You will have the rest of the day on your own to go exploring. We are within 30 minutes of Gettysburg, Harrisburg, York, and Hanover. Dinner will be served at 6:30PM or you can choose to skip dinner and have dinner out while you are exploring the local towns. Sunday morning breakfast will be served at 7:30AM. We will ride out at 9AM for another 4 hour scenic ride. We will return at 1PM and lunch will be served before parting on your way. Please see the attached riding apparel for appropriate dress. Helmets will be provided. Must wear a shoe with a heel when riding at Stoney Run Stable. Please print and bring along a liability form for each rider.
