ABOUT ME:
My name is Paige and I am dual enrolled college/high school student. I own a seven month old, AQHA registered, Quarter Horse colt named Fire In The Reeds, informally known as Reed, and a fifteen year old, breeding stock Quarter Horse mare named Lady. My passion for equine photography arose as my late horse, Cody, and my bond increased. I owned my special boy for a little over two years and I couldn't have ask for a better horse. I have loved taking pictures ever since he and I have been together. I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I have owned everything from mice to turtles, from cats to dogs, chickens and cows, and I have never ever lived a day without a horse in my life. There is one animal that I never have and never will own, and that would be a bird. I have no personal reasons, really, but let's just say I have some very strange melanophobic family members. =]
Looking through my lens, I see animals in a different light. I have been known to stay in the horse pasture taking random pictures for hours on end. If I shall ever disappear, I can almost guarantee you that is where I can be found. Photography is a way for me to capture many memories I have shared with my horses and spend good quality bonding time with them.
