Excellent for jumping! Puts the rider in the correct position. I have shown at “AA” shows in the Equitation classes through 3’3” and I always used close contact saddles. This saddle is in ridiculously good condition and was used as a SHOW saddle only. Made in England, this saddle is by Stalker Nafey, now known as Harry Dabbs (AKA the maker of Jaguar saddles). This is the “Astor” model #3247. Leather is soft and supple, no tears, cracks or problems, this looks less used than most year old saddles! Saddle tree and billets are perfect (the entire saddle is). There are no “wear marks” on this saddle. It doesn’t get much better than this. Saddle has a medium, laminated spring tree. 100% wool flocked panels. This particular saddle was used on an AQHA hunter/jumper. It has a 14” flap and full grained leather panels. This saddle was $2,500 NEW. It can go right back into the show ring.
