About a 4" cantel. This saddle fits my very wide gelding and my cowbred mare w/ withers very well. I believe it may have the raised gullet option to accomodate horses w/ high withers along w/ your mutton withered horses. It is lightly used and in great condition. Beautiful tooling + wall aluminum stirrups! Comes w/ cinch. This saddle retails close to $1200 and because they are completely handmade, normal wait is 12-18wks!
