6- Inch Loose- Ring “Korsteel” Snaffle with Copper Bean. Nice bit, only been used a dozen, or so, times. Bit encourages the horse to relax into it, and promotes salvation. Pressure, when applied, is exuded onto the tongue and bars, with little to no palette pressure. Very mild bit, but could be used to finish draft horses, as the bars are narrow enough through the bars, that a rider with calm hands can get an immediate response when light rein pressure is applied. Copper bean is lightly oxidized, which happens after the bit is in the horses mouth a couple of times. Bit has minimal scratching, and there are no teeth marks anywhere on the bit.?
