5- Inch twisted “Carlyle” Eggbutt snaffle. Nice snaffle used for horses in training, showing or on horses that need that little bit of extra control. One of the most mild twisted snaffles that you’ll find out there. Bit itself rests in the horses’ mouth on the bars, with any pressure applied going to the tongue and bars. This bit has little to no palette pressure, depending on the shape of your horses’ mouth. Bit is also curved to fit the horses’ mouth better. Bit is clean, and has minimal scratches, nothing major. When this bit was used, mostly it was wrapped in a latex bandage, so the marks are from the few times that the horse had the bit in their mouth with nothing covering it.
