I have two totally awesome chinchillas that i need to go to a new loving and caring home. I am forced to find these amazing animals a new home due my hectic work/school schedule. I feel that i am never home enough to give them the love and attention that they well deserve. Chewy is a three year old standard grey male. His son, Gizmo aka Baby, is a one year old wilson white male. These two boys have always lived together and must always live together. I hand raised both of them, so they are very people friendly. When you open the cage door they usually rush over for chin and ear scratches, along with an occasional rose hip. Along with the two chinchillas you will also receive their four foot tall, four story cage -- which is on wheels and has a pull out tray at the bottom. The cage also includes the following: a 12" titanium silent flying saucer, a plastic igloo, two wooden perches, a hay rack with a full bag of timothy hay, two 3 pound bags of food, two wooden houses, a big exterior water bottle that has a flip top for easy refilling, a salt and a mineral wheel, a marble cooling slab, a twist-and-lock food dish, a plastic bath house with half a jug of volcanic dust, one bottle of sanitizing cage spray, half a bag of cage bedding, and some rose hips. This is truly an amazing deal! You are receiving virtually everything you could possibly need for two chinchillas, plus more! Chinchillas are high maintenance and not suitable for small children. They have very fragile rib cages and are highly sensitive to heat and water. I strongly prefer them to go to a home with someone who has plenty of knowledge/experience in taking care of chinchillas. Chinchillas are the softest animals in the world and they can live up to twenty five years! Keep in mind that they are not cheap animals; nor was their cage, flying saucer, or other accessories that come with them. Below are actual pictures of the chinchillas in their mansion.
