You’re not just a talented horseperson, you’re a team player with strong customer service skills who delights in introducing families and children to the wonders of the horse and the joy of riding outdoors.
You’re looking for a stable (haha), financially rewarding summer job with an established company that you can return to year after year; and you love the physical demands of outdoor work. You are tidy, organized, have a strong work ethic (nothing makes you happier than a swept barn isle), and you are friendly, outgoing and fun to work with.
You’re a strong, confident rider with a minimum 5 years of riding experience in any discipline.
You have great communication skills, and maybe even some teaching experience.
You have a good handle on the basics of equine health and nutrition.
You might even have experience in operating tractors, atv’s, lawntractors and weed wackers, but if you don’t, you’re keen to learn. You pay attention to detail and love everything horse; not just riding them but everything from scrubbing troughs to mucking stalls.
