Owned and operated by the McClelland Family here in Tyner, NC. We are a family owned business and we keep it in the family. I am the 3rd generation at keeping the horse business going. I have and Associates Degree in Equine Technology along with my extensive knowledge from my family and friends that have passed their teachings and trainings on to me. I am always learning and I like to teach others; that want to learn all they can. We offer a relaxed-family atmosphere for you and your horse! We are located on 8 acres with our barn and pastures. We are looking at putting up a small indoor riding ring for those days that you can’t ride in the rain or cold. We are always adding something here for our horses and for us to have fun enjoying our horses. We offer training and lessons to all levels and at most any disciplines. We also breed Registered Morgan Horses. We have our senior stallion and an upcoming junior stallion. We have many success stories from the riders that we taught to the horses that we sold. We pride ourselves in our horses and their abilities to be what them and their riders want them to be. We go to horse shows, parades, and seasonal trail rides and we love taking our horse friends and students to go and have fun. We teach from beginners to advanced riders in the discipline they prefer. We offer individual and group lessons depending on the knowledge of horse and rider. For training, we offer many options depending on the horse. We don’t believe in 30, 60, or 90 days training as you may see. We go by the horse’s ability to learn and comprehend what we teach. We have had some horses that were broke and trained in less than 30 days. So it all depends. We are happy to evaluate your horse and consult with you and what you are looking for. We require during lessons the proper attire to be worn at all times…NO exceptions!! Long pants, boots with a heal (no hiking boots or boots with tread); a riding helmet is a must if you are under 18 years of age. If you are older than 18 years of age and you prefer not to wear a helmet while on our property then a wavier must be signed stating you assume all risks. We also have started taking in a rescue horse for some training, love and care till we can find their forever home. We like to expose them to all things good for them. We also want to use this to teach people about how to properly take care of their horses. We want the horses to be happy and the owner to know how to help make them happy and healthy for life.
