“Success in the Saddle - From the Ground Up”
Keith Stewart is well known throughout Alberta and British Columbia as an expert in colt starting, ranch roping, ranch horse versatility, cattle working to cutting, horsemanship for the new horse owner, equine safety and problem solving workshops.
Keith instructs proper groundwork techniques and riding concepts applicable to all levels of riders and all disciplines be it hunter jumper, ranch roping, trail riding, pleasure or performance horse riding. This 2 ½ day clinic will establish and reinforce a foundation of communication and respect that will support you and your horse under any circumstance; whether traversing gullies, manoeuvring around logs or coming upon unforeseen obstacles. Learn to ride with rhythm, timing, balance, rein and leg aids. These are powerful skills that every rider requires.
This weekend workshop will begin Friday evening and run Saturday and Sunday mornings with groundwork and each afternoon in-the-saddle.

Clinic Participant Cost: $480.00 (cheques to be made payable to Legacy Ridge) Auditors’ Cost: $10.00/day Includes: 2 ½ day clinic, haul-ins, over-night stabling if required, lunch & coffee (please note that if you require over-night stabling, horses must have had a Coggins Test and a record of up-to-date vaccinations must be shown)
