Bring the family to a fun day in the country! Days End Farm Horse Rescue will hold its annual “Fall Festival” on October 24, 2009 in Lisbon, Maryland located at 1372 Frederick Road just north of the traffic circle at Routes 144 and 94. The hours are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Cost of admission is $5 for families, $2 for adults, $1 for children under 12, and children under 6 are free OR you can download our "Free Passes" and bring your friends and family for FREE! The day’s highlight will be a contest with the horses in costume, starting at 1 p.m. You be the judge! The horses have already started shopping for their costumes which are sure to be a fun surprise for all. We also have a contest for our attendees so come in costume and you may win a prize!!
In addition there will be pony rides, stick horse races, Riding Demonstrations, a petting zoo, face painting, pumpkin decorating, games, door prizes, farm tours, costume contest, delicious food, and plenty of fun. This year's Fall Festival features a 50/50 raffle and plenty of games, amusements and live music to keep the whole family entertained throughout the day.
