Location: New Holland, PA Notes: The horse auction in New Holland, Pennsylvania, known as the "New Holland Killer Sale," is the biggest public horse auction east of the Mississippi and a privately owned facility. Every Monday, an average of 250 horses goes through the sale and a huge percentage of those are purchased by "Kill Buyers" for slaughter. Another Chance 4 Horses Rescue attends this auction weekly to save horses from these kill buyers. We outbid the kill buyers at the auction, or purchase horses out of the killpens, to save a horse from going to slaughter. For more details please see our website. You can help horses in need by purchasing a horse directly from the auction, sponsoring a horse or providing a home for one that has been rescued. Without "U" there can be no "rescUe"!
