LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE. I have pasture space for one more gelding or if you have two horses and you want them together, I have a pasture available with the shelter seen in the picture. I also have two stalls available with part-time private turn out. or you can opt for all day semi- private turn out. Your horse will receive only the best of care. I feed twice a day a very high quality Bermuda hay and an Orchard grass/Timothy mix during the winter months and sometimes during the late part of summer if the pastures are not providing enough grass. All horses are given free choice minerals and are fed complete pelleted feed along with thier hay during the coldest months.
Pasture horse are kept in small groups of 2 to 3 horses of the same sex in s 6-8 acres acre pastures. Each pasture has a walk in shelter and plenty of trees for protection from the weather. Most Pasture horses drinking water comes from a Bar Bar A auto waterier, so it's always fresh and cool. By winter, all horses will have access to a Bar Bar auto waterier.
I have an outdoor sand arena, a round pen, a great obstacle course and a few hundred acres to ride on. (You can even ride down to the river( This is a very quiet SMOKE FREE adult boarding facility with just a very few select boarders, so if your looking for someplace with lots of people and all that drama that goes with the big barns, this would not be the place for you. The two boarders that I have are basically just trail riders and enjoy practicing natural horsemanship in the arena and on the obstacle course.
The barn has a wash area, fans for stalls, a nice sized tack room, an office with a fridge and microwave and concrete flooring throughout. Fees: Stalled horse with private turnout weather permitting-$275/month. Stalled during bad or extra hot weather only-$200/month (Horses will be in semi-private pasture during rest of the time) Pasture horses with Quality run in sheds-$175/month Senior pasture board $225/month (Higher cost is due to the price of pelleted senior feed) They also receive hay, but older horses to not tend to so well on hay alone. Worming every 8 weeks and hoof trims/shoes. extra $35-$50/month I have a natural barefoot trimmer who comes out every 6 weeks. There is also a farrier who will come if you prefer to have shoes put on your horse.
All incoming horses must be up to date on vaccines and coggins.
I'm located 4 miles North of Hartsville Pike/Beasly's Bend turn off. It's about a 20 minute drive from Lebanon's town square. I may be a little further out then some boarding facilities, but your horse will get a lot more personalized attention here and a peaceful atmosphere to boot. You WILL NOT find tons of horses in one pasture left to manage on thier own with a round bale of hay. Horses are checked at a minimum of twice a day during feeding time.
I work out of a home office, so I'm here pretty much 24/7 to keep an eye on your horses.
