I have a few openings in my barn for Boarding or Training and are taking resurvations for boarding in heated section for late fall 2009.
I have room for 2 more training horses currantly that would fit into my scheadule right now, contact me if your interested, Kathleen Keeley-Robb ,I started off as An Hunter/Jumper Rider as a child and was very sucessful showinng thru "A" curcit. I then did some AQHA Showing in Hunters sucessfully and enjoied Western Pleasure Showing, I started a working student program with Dressage trainer Vi Hopkins and got hooked! Attendance in USDF Instructors seminars. Many Clinics with Dressage greats,to many to list.
Worked for and was student of Olympic Eventing Rider/Bronze Medalest Darren M. Chiacchia. Which has given me an very well rounded background in training horses,and a highlevel of knowlage of performance conditioning and fitness , maintainig soundness in performance horses thru proper training and fitting. I have a background that employees use of Classical Dressage Princables, Resitance Free Riding & Handling and Balanced Seats and can enhance any rider knowlage or horses training . * Note AQHA has open up a Dressae division I would be happy to assit those AQHA owners looking to try this!
*We still have 2 stalls open for remainder July at pro rated fee. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get in a very High-end private boarding at a reasonable price. We cater to primarily Dressage & Hunter/Jumpers, and the owner is a trainer with over 40 yrs in horses. And we have had clinics at the farm on request. We also have a few Dressage riders who are currently showing . And some interest in Western Performance such as Reining Horses. And can offer AQHA Dressage enthusiasts a great start in showing in this New Division ! I personally Breed and Train Trakehner’s but love all breeds!
*My apprentice trainer is well versed in young horse starting in a very gentle partnership way. He is quite an exceptional person with a horse. Making them easy for me to finish to your desired discipline.
* We are only excepting boarders and training horses ( pre -Vet Checked) at this time who are committed to learning and excellence in horsemanship and have a vested interest in following good boarder payment guidelines so we can run a smooth operation with out delays and hardships from slow funds. Which ultimately affect all the customers. So we are looking for those who are ready to go with there horses and accomplish their goals.
This a private training / breeding farm with Owner & Manager on site. Not a lesson mill barn. Our horses and Owners and staff are all Pleasant and a joy to be around. We have jumps available and an indoor arena along with a full course in our outdoor arena and a few cross country fences. Also a bridle path that leads around most of the property for hacking. And a grass full size regulation dressage arena. We have pleasant park like farm setting with picnic tables ,Bon Fire Pit ,all on private lake.
* Our stalls are 15X 12 ,12 X 12 and 10x12 with isle windows so your horse can put it's head outside. Cleaned everyday! * We feed 2x per day, what ever amount the horse needs to maintain a healthy body weight. We feature Purina Feed and high quality hay. * We turnout everyday, weather permitted, in private paddocks. * We have water inside and outside at all times in summer. * Large outdoor sand arena * Indoor *Heated Barn in winter ,with timer lighting for Shorter Winter Coat & Breeding Cycle Control. *Heat area HOT and COLD Water Wash Rack! *Heated observation room sitting area , with half bath , and light horse laundry . * Large grass area for hacking or jumping * Bridle path around the farm * Grass Dressage Ring * Impeccable clean barn * Large Locking boarder tack room with saddle racks and hooks or bring your locker. * Your Supplement added to feed * Dr. Thaler of Metamora Equine is our vet (although you can use whom you choose) * Albert Stewart is our Farrier blacksmith (although you can use whom you choose) * 5 minutes walk to rails to trails , Beautiful groomed horse trail * 10 minutes from White Horse Inn, Tack Shops in Metamora by car.
