This is an intimate facility with only eight (8) boarding stalls available at the present. Entire horse population will not exceed 15. The stalls are HUGE ! ! ! Each stall is 12 x 16, with open view onto the arena and individual outside window. The well being of each horse is our main priority. The ranch is situated on over 50 acres of rolling pastures including a half mile track once used for Thoroughbred racers. On-site riding is welcome and encouraged. Horses are kept outside on pasture as much as possible, and have access to hay when pasture isn't sufficient. Our pasture turnout is open throughout the winter when the ground is frozen. Turnout is 7 days a week from 8:30 AM until dusk, with overnights outside in the summer months. For their safety, horses are not turned out in halter. When you want to saddle up your horse, you will find your tack within easy reach in the secure and centrally located tack room... with individual saddle racks and hooks. We will also have individual lockers where you can keep your personal affects locked away. Included in our full boarding price are things many barns charge extra for, including: - Indoor riding arena - Blanketing - Sunday Turnout - Vitamin or medicine dosage (provided by owner) - Assistance with Vet and Farrier - Coordinated, rotated worming schedule - Grain of your choice, morning and evening - Continuous supply of hay, per your instructions - Free-choice mineral supplements in stalls - Salt blocks in pastures - Horse Trailer Parking - Owner / manager on premises - Personal, one-on-one service and care
We visually inspect all the horses daily and will inform you of even the slightest concern. They will be treated with TLC along with our own 2 horses. Our local vet is on call and close by for quick responses. Our local farrier is a phone call away and makes the trip here every 6-8 weeks to keep the horses in tip-top shape. If you have special needs or requests please ask. We want you to feel at home... confident that your horse is in good hands.
Monthly boarding fee is $300 payable in advance. All horses must have current negative Coggins and veterinarian health certificate on file with us before arriving at our facility.
