I decided to start this group to give my fellow horse owners and other horse lovers a venue to make friends, have a coffee or dinner, and to meet together to attend various equestrian events, go on trail rides, hay/sleigh rides, and attend rodeos.
For those of us who own horses, this will give us a chance to learn horsemanship techniques from each other and swap stories. For those of you who do not own horses, this will give you a chance to learn from those who do, and get a chance to trail ride with the best of them. Everyone is welcome as long as you are serious about horses, and like to have fun.
This group is open to all horse lovers from the Calgary area and beyond ages 18+ This group is open to all professional and non- professional horsemen and women, seasoned ranchers, trainers, farriers, breeders, casual riders, and beginners.
Networking is encouraged.
In this group we will:
Meet other local horse owners and riders for dinner or coffee.
Gather for horse-related activities.
Take a riding lesson. Enjoy social events.
Gather for trail rides.
Attend equestrian clinics.
Attend horse shows and other horse related events. Attend rodeos.
Attend equine trade shows.
Go on carriage/sleigh rides.
