We are proud to announce an exciting new association for the breeders and owners of Friesian Horses, Friesian Sporthorses and Arabo Friesians in Canada. The “CANADIAN FRIESIAN HORSE ASSOCIATION “ (CFHA)” has been founded by several dedicated Canadian Friesian Horse owners. The registry will strive to assist Canadian breeders, owners, and Friesian enthusiast to access affordable professional advice and services in order to breed, register, evaluate and award these magnificent animals in accordance with the breeding standards and rules of their mother studbooks and the Canadian Animal Pedigree Act. The registry will promote these animals by: - Giving our horses the opportunity to participate in Canadian Equestrian Award programs. - Issuing papers, maintaining Pedigree, DNA and Microchip database. - Organizing inspection tours for the evaluation of the horses. - Organizing stallion Keurings and Stallion Approval Tests. - Organizing membership meetings and opening a member’s communication list on the web. The Canadian Friesian Horse Association is in its infancy. There are several founding members from coast to coast, we invite you to contact CFHA to learn more and get involved in this exciting and groundbreaking Canadian event. Ultimately Friesian enthusiasts are welcomed from each province and territory to promote our horses. This is an exciting time and the founders are honored to be a part of it.
