CTRC is a family oriented horse club based in Harford County MD that has members from around the Tri-state. Our meetings are held at the County Extension Office in Forest Hill on the first Friday of every month at 730PM. You do not have to own a horse to join our club! PLEASE COME OUT AND JOIN US. We are a fun laid back group with members of all diciplines, ages, and experiences.
We host a variety of events including:
-Weekly trail rides from various locations including Fair Hill, Susquehanna park, Sweet Air park, Gunpowder State Park, and others. Some of our rides are overnight or cookout rides. Rides are geared for riders of all abilities and horses of all breeds. We have gaited rides and non-gaited rides.
-Spring ECTRA sanctioned competitive trail rides and ride and ties(15mile training, 30 mile, and 50 mile)
-Fall ECTRA sanctioned rides (30, 50, 80, 100 mile) and ride and ties.
-FOOD BOOTH: We have a funnel cake booth that we take to events to make money to support the club and donate a portion of our profits to horse-related charities.
-Winter Party: Each year CTRC hosts a members and guests party to celebrate the year's accomplishments in January. -Clinics, guest speakers, field trips etc. We encourage our members to seek out horse related experiences and encourage suggestions for activities for our club. Some events we have hosted in the past include: Riding clinics, horse shows, CowTown Rodeo trip, Horse Expo trip, and others.
