Do you have a barrel horse you can no longer care for or are no longer interested in? Have you changed programs and need to thin down? Have an older or finished horse standing around and you're focusing on futurity mounts? Must be free or nearly free, maybe free lease. I can afford for the upkeep, vet, etc but not the initial purchase. Maybe can trade one or two for the right one. I have 2 1D/2D mares, a 7 yr old paint gelding ready to start on the pattern, and a weanling stud colt who is going to be an open reining champion. Can provide references if needed. We love our horses here and provide the best care. Prefer quarter horse or paint, between 14.2-15.3 hands. NOTHING over 16h as I'm only 5'4", and between the ages of 5-12. An English riding friend says he's a nice enough mover to do English equitation or maybe Hunter Under Saddle but I think he would probably do better at performance or western pleasure as he likes to carry his head lower.
