Another Chance 4 Horses, Inc. is a non-profit 501c(3) incorporation in continuous operation for over a decade. AC4H is run by volunteers, we have no paid staff, not because they don't deserve it because all funds are utilized to help the horses. The horses rely entirely on your donations and your help is urgently needed. Rescuing and rehabilitating our beloved equine friends is an incredibly rewarding experience. However, it is also expensive and time consuming. AC4H is diversified. We assist horses through surrenders/neglect cases, local auctions outbidding kill-buyers, buying sick or injured and purchasing directly out of the kill pens sometimes literally moments before they are shipped to slaughter. We are an all breed rescue.

Mystery - a 4/5 yr old chestnut mare. Ties, trailers, tacks, loads, nice walk, trot and canter, English or Western, lots of potential with her. She was saved from slaughter. When fundraising, we had received additional funds to pull directly from the NY kill pen. We asked the kill buyer to put another one on the trailer and that is how she got her name, as we didn't know who we were getting, it was a "mystery".<br> <br>She is working with picking up feet, fly spraying and is currently receiving trail miles... AC4H Rescue at New Holland Auction every Monday in USA/Canada

New Holland Auction 10:00 am - 3:00 pm (This event repeats every week.) Location: New Holland, PA Notes: The horse auction in New Holland, Pennsylvania, known as the "New Holland Killer Sale," is the biggest public horse auction east of the Mississippi and a privately owned facility. Every Monday, an average of 250 horses goes through the sale and a huge percentage of those are purchased by "Kill Buyers" for slaughter. Another Chance 4 Horses Rescue attends this auction weekly to save horses from these kill buyers. We outbid the kill buyers at the auction, or purchase horses out of the killpens, to save a horse from going to slaughter. For more details please see our website.
