Star Walkers is dedicated to raising and training naturally gaited Tennessee Walking Horses for show, trail, and pleasure. We currently have a stallion standing at stud and horses for sale. We also offer training for all breeds and riding lessons with an EC certified instructor for reasonable rates.

She is friendly and well mannered. She has 3 nice gaits and correct conformation. She leads well and is good with her feet. She has been bathed and clipped and handled it very well. She is out of the CWHBA Premium Inspected mare Class of Her Own and by the Oldenburg stallion Mannhattan. Her pedigree includes greats like Donaufuerst(Trakehner), Rubin(Trakehner), Donauwind(Trakehner), Furioso II (Oldenburg), Wendekreis (Oldenburg), & Vollkorn(TB). Her pedigree is full of horses that have excelled in both the jumping and dressage rings and are known for their trainability. She was shown at the CWHBA Alberta Breeder's Show 2010 in the open foal class. She was very well behaved and recieved an overall score of 6.75 with an 8 for swing and elasticity.She was shown at the CWHBA Alberta Breeder's Show 2011 in the yearling class with an overall score of 6.5. "Fini" is an awesome horse. He has a puppy dog attitude and he doesn't care what you do with him. He's always the first to come up and say hi when you go outside. He just loves attention! <br><br>Overall, Fini presents a beautiful, balanced picture. His head is gorgeous with well set alert ears and big bold expressive eyes. He has a higher set neck that blends perfectly into his chest and withers. With his long sloping shoulder he gets lots of stride and can really prove what a “glide ride” really is. He’s short backed with a nice sloping hindquarters adding to his awesome over stride. His legs are straight with excellent strong hooves. On top of his excellent conformation he has a long thick mane and tail and his coppery color just sparkles in the sun. Something that you have to see in person, pictures just do not do him justice.<br><br>His sire was the breathtakingly beautiful Gold Legacy by Prides Gold Coin and an Ebony Masterpiece mare. His dam Legends Montego Bay is by The Legend. He has seven world grand champions in his pedigree as well. Several of his half brothers and sisters are competing in the show ring and doing very well. I have 10+ years of experience working with horses. I believe in having a respectful and trusting horse from the ground up. I have experience in both western and english. I specialize in training Tennessee Walking Horses but I have also worked with other breeds, mainly Quarter Horses. I am willing to work with any breed of horse. I am willing to do any type of training from starting under saddle, to more miles, or a refresher course for a horse that has been sitting in the pasture for a while. Horses are started in an arena and once they are ready I take them out as much as possible to get them use to being rode in the open and down the road. 3 Days/Week - $450+GST/month 4 Days/Week - $500+GST/month 5 Days/Week - $550+GST/month Prices include training and board. At Star Walkers we offer private and group lessons for the first time rider up to advanced riders. We strive to provide a fun and engaging learning environment that is safe for our students. Our goal is to create independent, confident, and knowledgeable students who will continue to enjoy horses throughout their lives. One of the primary goals of Star Walkers is to introduce riders to gaited horses, particularly the Tennessee Walking Horse. Several lesson horses are available for all levels of riders. During the summer students have an opportunity to show throughout Alberta at Tennessee Walking Horse shows. ~~~~~~~~~~ 10 Week Sessions – 1 Lesson/Week $200 for Group Lessons (up to 3 riders) $300 for Private Lessons ~~~~~~~~~~
