Surprise N You, Bay Quarter Horse For Sale in Oregon
$ 7,500
Suri is a very sweet coming 4-year-old AQHA bay mare whose sire and dam are both proven show ring winners as well as proven producers of winners. She is enrolled in the AQHA Incentive Fund; has her NRHA Competition License; is in the NRHA Sire and Dam program; and eligible for the NFQHA. She has no vices; is in the bridle; has smooth gaits; is a natural lead-changer and has a great buns-in-the-ground stop. Suri has good, correct and balanced conformation with straight legs, excellent bone and solid feet. She is a good-sized young mare at 15.2 hands, and she will likely mature a bit taller. Suri has a wonderful mind and while athletic, she is not hot. She has good manners both on the ground as well as under saddle, and is easy to catch, bathe, load and haul and trim/shoe. Suri can presently be enjoyed by anyone from a confident novice in lessons to an experienced horseman. She has mostly been ridden in an arena, but when taken out on trail rides several times was very sensible, not spooky and kept up easily with the other horses in a brisk walk. Due to her size, speed, build and stop, she could excel as a calf-roping horse or do nicely in open shows, as an OHSET mount, all-around, trails, and sorting or penning. Suri is an exceptionally good young mare who in time could become a 'finished reiner' if that is her new owner's dream, but with her nice power-steering and good mind, she will make some lucky horseman an outstanding new partner. Suri is current on all shots, worming, shoes, tooth floating and is being ridden on a daily basis so we hope if you are seriously looking for a great new horse, you will check Suri out in Redmond, Oregon. We have a VIDEO AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST.
(details)
By Golly Miss Molly, White Welsh Pony For Sale in Oregon
$ 1,700 (Negotiable)
Beautiful little Molly has taught little children how to love, trust and ride a pony - first on a longe line, then on their own. She is well-trained under saddle and knows her leads, LOVES to jump, is mannerly, and has even been ridden in shows and Pony Club. She is also good on trail rides where she is not spooky and although she is small, she keeps up well with big ponies or horses. Molly has never coliced NOR foundered and is very healthy and sound at 18. Molly does not have papers, but her owner has owned Welsh ponies for many years and is quite sure Molly purebred. Molly has NO VICES, is good to clip, bathe, tie, trim her hooves, and load and haul. Molly lives in Bend, Oregon and is current on her shots, worming and trims. Beaus Desert Drifter, Buttermilk Buckskin Quarter Horse For Sale in Arizona
$ 7,000
Beau is a real eye-catcher with his hard-to-find buttermilk buckskin color, plus chrome on his face and all four legs. He has a quiet, friendly, gentle disposition with a curious and sensible nature. Purchased as a big, lightly-started two-year-old by his current owner, Beau has received lots of round-pen training using Natural Horsemanship methods to create a strong bond and trust as well as respect for his owner. He has proved to be a very pleasurable student to work with - a quick learner who was willing and seldom presented resistance or difficulty in new situations. Beau was purchased in Arizona, but has traveled back and forth numerous times in the last several years to his summer home in Minnesota. He is a good hauler, loading and riding quietly in a homemade two-horse straight load trailer and eats, drinks and relaxes well in new surroundings. Beau's owner/trainer has undergone some health set-backs in the past year and realizes that Beau might enjoy a new home where he can receive lots of love, attention and riding in the arena or best yet, on trails. Beau has been ridden mostly CROSS-COUNTRY in the hills and deserts - not just on boring trails or dirt roads - and he bravely tackles steep rocky slopes both up and down, heavy brush and streams as requested by his rider without refusal. He has also been ridden in the famous Wickenburg Gold Rush Days parade several times, and safely carried his rider through all the noise and excitement. Beau is still in a snaffle and starting to neck-rein; he picks up both leads upon request, backs, and can handily open and close a gate without his rider dismounting. He stands still to mount from either side, and is mannerly on the ground and to handle his feet. Beau's owner really loves him and will ONLY sell him to a good home where Beau will be appreciated and well cared for. Beau healthy and sound - he has never had any colic nor founder issues, and is ready to move on to a new intermediate or better rider (due to his young age) to enjoy. Beau is presently living in Wickenburg, Arizona.

(details)
Mr Monkey Blue, Blue Roan Quarter Horse For Sale in Arizona
$ 6,500
Blue is a well-bred and VERY handsome coming 8-year-old AQHA gelding with correct, balanced conformation including a nice head, well-set neck with good withers, short back, powerful hindquarters and straight, well-boned legs with solid, dark feet. He is truly a blue roan who is dark silvery-blue/gray with black mane, tail and legs in Spring and Summer, but turns nearly black in Winter as shown in his recent photos above. He was purchased by his owner as a well started 3-year-old, and his owner has enjoyed putting ground and round pen manners as well as many hundreds of trail miles on Blue over the last five years. Blue's breeding predicts that he should be athletic and have lots of cow-sense, both of which he certainly has shown. As his owner has reached 'Grandpa' age and isn't as active in the saddle as he has been in the past, he realizes that Blue is bored with only being ridden on trails occasionally. Therefore, he is offering to sell Blue to a knowledgeable horseman who will appreciate his quickness, athletic abilities and hopefully, let Blue play with cattle in sorting, penning, ranch horse versatility, or similar venues. Blue is kind and honest and while not a really 'in your pocket' kind of guy - a bit more businesslike - he enjoys being groomed, and has good manners both on the ground and under saddle. Blue's gaits are pleasant with a brisk, ground-covering walk, comfortable trot and nice lope. His owner firmly believes that Blue's abilities are only limited by his rider's skills and that Blue will do best with a confident intermediate or better horseman. Blue lives part of the year up in Minnesota, but is currently down in Wickenburg, Arizona for several months being enjoyed on the trails by his owner. He is healthy, sound, has no vices, brand new shoes and is ready to move on to a more challenging home and rider.

PRICE: $6,500 negotiable to a knowledgeable home - or 'package purchase' for $10,000 with "Lowery Black Drift" (another HANDSOME blue roan 8-year-old AQHA gelding for sale on this website)

(details)
Lowery Black Drift, Blue Roan Quarter Horse For Sale in Arizona
$ 5,500
Drifter is a nice coming 8-year-old blue roan AQHA gelding. His photos above were just taken on January 11, so he is in his winter coat and appears almost pure black; in the spring and summer you will definitely see a horse of a different color. He has a handsome head, soft eye, loves attention and wants to be a bit TOO close if anything. He has excellent conformation with plenty of bone, a deep powerful hip and good balance all the way around as well as a thick, heavy mane and tail. He is excellent on the trails and goes through, down, up and over everything he has been asked to take on during a past year and a half since his owner purchased him. Drifter has the SAME owner as the other handsome, sound and nicely-bred blue roan AQHA gelding for sale on this website - 'MR MONKEY BLUE'. There is nothing wrong with either gelding; their owner bought them as his dream horses over the past several years and the grandchildren are now taking precedence over his lifelong hobby of trail riding. Drifter is stockier, a bit taller and more muscular as well as quieter than 'Blue', his pasture mate. IF someone were wanting to purchase BOTH nice 8-year-old blue roan geldings as a package, their owner will consider $10,000 for the pair. Drifter lives part time up in Minnesota but is presently in Wickenburg, Arizona, for several months of trail riding through the desert.

(details)
Melodys Delightfull Lady, Jet Black With Star Tennessee Walking Horse For Sale in Oregon
$ 2,700 (Or best offer)
Lady is a very classy, beautiful and correctly built 17-year-old Tennessee Walker mare who doesn't show nor act her age; most people think she is about 10. She is a kind, sweet, 'lady-like' mare who has been ridden on trails throughout the Cascade Mountains for many years. Lady has excellent gaits which are very smooth including a ground-covering dog walk and a rack. She is bored in arenas, but definitely comes alive as soon as you head out the gate so although she is always respectful, she is energetic and happy and will do best with a confident rider who isn't intimidated by a very forward-moving gaited horse. She is NOT spooky; is good around vehicles, dogs, bicycles, hikers, deer, etc. but does get nervous with noisy motorcycles. On the ground Lady has excellent manners and is good to catch, tie or cross-tie, enjoys being groomed and is quiet to bathe and squirt with fly-spray. Lady is a really lovely, quality mare who is only being offered for sale to the RIGHT new home because her owner isn't riding her much in the last two years. Lady CAN be laid off from riding for days, weeks or months and is always just as good when put back into work as when she was turned out. She is a very easy-keeper, so must not be left out on a green or irrigated pasture and eats a low-carb (like Blue Grass) hay. Lady has always had the best of care, been kept current on all shots, worming, dental and hoof care and lives in Sisters, Oregon. PRICE IS NEGOTIABLE TO A GREAT NEW HOME.

(details)
