Dennis was also born here at the rescue, his mamma was on the thin side. But she gave him all she had. And he turned out wonderful. This little boy is lead broken, has had his feet done. He is a quarter horse/ standardbred cross. He looks like a rocking chair when he moves out. If you are looking for a baby to raise your way. Look no further. ***update Denise is truely growing into a fine horse. He is a year old now and will have his mothers size when grown (she is 16.2). He has quarter horse sence, I do not think he will be gaited. As he has a very clear walk,trot, and canter. He is very calm with ground work, and would be nice for a child to raise. ****UPDATE This boy has not stopped growing, he is as tall as the two year old here. Jumping is in this boys future if someone will just give him that chance. UPDATE 4-22-09 he is coming a two year old and over 14.3 now we are saddling him, and he takes it like everything else . In stride truely an exceptional baby, this one would be great for a child to raise, training the right way.
