SOLD! Leroy, Chestnut American Quarter Pony For Sale in Massachusetts SOLD!
$ 0
Leroy is a 14.3 H, 12 year old, handsome chestnut gelding, large pony; his size is well suited for adult riders as well as the smaller riders. He has been with me for many years and we are only looking for a new home due to the fact he is no longer being ridden, teen just lost interest. I will be honest and give you all the facts, 1st and foremost I do not have to get rid of him we are not broke and looking to dump him! He has done barrel racing and gaming and did great won in most all RBHI Jr. divisions, well trained in dressage, would kick butt in training level all day long, trail rides and road safe, won a lot of English classes at local shows lots of blue ribbons to show. He does jump but we never done anything more than 18” to 1’ smaller cross rails, verticals & small courses. He will go to a show a lone and be fine. Trailers very well. Now the bad he can be very spooky at times, it is very random; if something sets him off he can be very shy of it, no bucking or rearing just jets pretty hard to the side he doesn’t want to be on. Hates fly spray, and does not clip, can be done but mostly not worth it. I just use shavers and scissors for the most part and he is fine. But go figure floats like a dream and great with the vet and farrier. He nearly died of a very bad colic, about 3 years ago and has had surgery. He has been great ever since no restrictions or problems just ride him like any other horse. He all in all is a great horse and needs a special home. He has been a camp horse and a lesson horse. I have never had an issue with him with the children he just seems to like a soft rider. Although he will take advantage of a dead beginner by stopping and putting his head down. Sorry for the long version but do not want to waste your time or mine. If interested please call or email. Thanks for looking! More pictures and videos available upon request.
