Looking for color, brains, conformation, size and a great attitude? Cheeks is a superb stallion that consistently passes those traits on to his offspring. He is 100% color producer to date, and all to date have matured over 15.2 hands. He has a nice head, with a large kind eye. <br><br>He is enrolled for the Breeders Trust for 2010. He has his Foundation Designation on his papers. He has over 105 ApHC halter points, and 5 performance points.<br><br>He just finished 5th at 2009 ApHC World Show in NP Aged Stallions. <br><br>The first filly we have by him is a halter point earner in Yearling Fillies and Hunter In Hand mares. She is also a futurity money winner in Lunge Line and Halter. She stands 14.2 at 18 months old (out of a 14.3 hand mare).<br><br>Unfortunately neither his sire or dam were shown. His great-grandsire Nugget Again is a Bronze medallion winning horse in Trail/Distance program. Nugget Again's sire Nugget Jim, will probably one day be in the Hall of Fame. Also on the sire's side are Wapiti, Colida, and Skipper W.<br><br>His dam is a grand daughter of 2x World Champion Roman Straw Boss, he is a son of Roman's Straw Man, who was by Hayes Roman Cloud (both ApHC Hall of Famers). Also on her sires side is multiple National Champion Sully B, and Bambi E who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2008. On her dams side is Hall of Famer Prince Plaudit and multiple national champion King Plaudit.

Eyes Rocket N Flight, Red Dun Appaloosa For Sale in Wisconsin

Rocket has turned into a great heeling horse. He heads as well, but is more comfortable on the heel side. He finished 14th out of 43 at the 2009 ApHC World show in Timed Heading and Heeling. He currently has 25+ ApHC breed points in Steer Daubing, Judged Heading, Judged Heeling, Steer Daubing, Working Cow Horse, Aged Stallions, and Hunter In Hand Stallions. He has Non-Pro points in NP HIH, and NP Stallions. Rocket has been a money earner at some open roping shows in WI. He is good on trails, and does decent in reining as well. <br><br>He has 8 registered offspring to date, and has passed the dun gene on to a few of them. He may look at first glance like a palomino, but he really is a light red dun. He is paid into the 2010 ApHC Breeders Trust program. He is a great height to cross with POA mares for raising cattle working POAs. Rocket has a great attitude, but occasionally will be a little more talkative with the ladies than he should be. We would like to retain some breedings to him when he sells.<br><br>We will be getting his FPD sticker on his papers before the end of this year. We have heard unofficially that FPD will be offered at the ApHC World show next year. They just began offering it at the National show in 2008.<br><br>Rocket is sired by An Apsolute Dream who was never shown, but his full brother "Icon" was a National Champion in Jr. Working Cowhorse and placed in the Top 10 at the World in Jr. Working Cowhorse. An Apsolute Dream was sired by Pleasant Dreams a 7x World Champion, and the 2002 World's Best Appaloosa. Pleasant Dreams was sired by the legendary Dreamfinder. Pleasant Dream's dam "Ms Sonny Dee Goer" was a granddaugther of Sonny Dee Bar, and Goer she produced multiple World Champions (Classic Black, Pleasant Dreams, Mr Big Bucks, License to Thrill (reserve World Champ), Spotdotcom (reserve World Champ). An Apsolute Dream was out of "Ms Peppy Machinette," who is a granddaughter of Peppy San Badger and Gay Bar King.<br><br>Rocket's dam Bright Eyes Bobbye is line bred Might Bright Again. Mighty Bright Again is a son of Honey Toe who was a World and National Champion. Bright Eyes Bobbye also traces to Wimpy, Skipper W, Gay Bar King, Leo, and Bright Eyes Brother.

Norman is broke to ride, but it has been a while since he was ridden steady, so will need a refresher course. His size, at about 14 hands, would allow him to work good for experienced children as well as smaller adults.<br><br>His movement is very hunter, and with some work could be an wonderful youth hunter pony. He does have a slower jog as well, that does not extend quite as far, so he has the potenial to go both english and western. For western he will need some work on bringing his head down some more. On the lungeline his canter appears to be nice and level, but there is still some work to do to get him collected.<br><br>Norman would make a great project pony for an experienced teenager.<br><br>His pedigree is full of point earners, World and National Champions, and champion producing horses. His sire Mr Conclusion was a World Champion, and the all time leading sire of AQHA & AYQHA World & Reserve World Champions, Sire of 108 World Champions and sire of over 200 Congress Winners (as of 12/31/96). His Sire Conclusive was also a World Champion, and produced multiple World Champions and Reserve World Champions. Conclusive's sire Impressive is credited with forever changing the halter horse world, he himself was a World Champion and sire numerous World Champions. <br><br>The winners don't stop on her sire's side. Her maternal grandsire (Six Masters) sired a World Champion Hunter Under Saddle horse. His sire Shieks Review also sired a Reserve World Champion as well as numerous ROM winners. His grandsire on both top and bottom was Skipper W, who sired multiple World Champions, and was inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame.
