Palomino pinto pony mare & buckskin 2009 colt, Palomino Tobiano & Buckskin Paint Pony For Sale in Pennsylvania
$ 2,000
Due to our own kids growing up and soon starting to move off the farm, we're opting to downsize our breeding program... besides these two we have show prospects for sale if folks are looking for a youngster... as well as a couple of other broodmares (one solid black APHA mare w/black tobiano colt currently advertised on here and one purebred Welsh chestnut roan beginner show pony mare w/palomino half welsh filly that we will advertise once we get her clipped up.)

Regarding this pair, Zephyr is a pony we've foaled and raised here, so we're certain of her age - she's 11. Her dam was one of our superb kids ponies - coming here after a career of shows and lessons. We bought her in foal with Zephyr and have never seen Zephyr's sire.

Since she only reached between 12.2hh and 12.3hh (making her an odd size for the English show ring) we opted to keep Zephyr as a broodmare instead of selling her as a show pony. At 3 years of age she was trained a little bit under saddle - broke to w/t, BUT she hasn't been ridden since, so I'm selling her as unbroke. Her foals have done well showing... and generally exceed her in height.

She's a sweet mare - leads, ties, grooms, picks up her feet, worms easily, clips, and is used to pasture breeding. She lives out in our herd 24/7, but comes in regularly for feed without issues being inside. She's super easy to catch and absolutely loves people including kids. She's easy to get in foal, has never had problems with delivery (foals between 2 and 3 weeks early), and is a good mother. She's up to date on worming and E/W/T/WN vaccines. She would need a coggins if traveling out of state.

Mojave (her colt) was just foaled 6/14/09. He's a cute little guy and looks to have the potential to be a nice show pony. His sire is our buckskin AQPA 13.1hh stallion. We do not imprint foals.

All pictures were just taken 6/23/09. Feel free to e-mail or call with any questions - or to come see her in person.

We can deliver within 5 hours of here (one way) for gas costs and we can accept credit card via paypal if desired. If a coggins is needed, I can get one with a deposit in hand.

Blanco's Blue Lady & Black tobiano colt, Black Pony For Sale in Pennsylvania
$ 3,000
Ebony is a 9 year old black breeding stock APHA mare that we bought 4 years ago to use as a hunter pony broodmare. She stands as a nice large at 14.1 3/4ths hh.

We had her sent to training for 90 days to give her the basics, but then have used her solely as a broodmare since, so if bought as a riding pony, I HIGHLY recommend retraining as I'm sure she's forgotten some, but it should come back easier than training new.

Her colt was foaled 5/27/09 - no problems with the delivery or since.

The sire of her colt is a silver bay tobiano paint pony stallion standing 12.1hh. Her colt is eligible for paint pony papers (APHR), but NOT APHA. This baby looks to get mom's height (looking at his cannons). Two full siblings should reach a tall medium. All three of her offspring have excellent show potential (looks & movement) - the oldest is 2 this year - and we don't send them to training till 3, so they are not yet started under saddle. They can be seen on our premises.

Due to our kids growing up and moving on, we are offering Ebony for sale with her colt for $3500. At weaning (4 months), the colt can be purchased alone for $1500. Ebony could be purchased alone for $2500 - however, if she doesn't sell soon (or a deposit for later), we plan to breed her to our buckskin QP stallion this year (we gelded the silver bay stallion to send him out to training/sale). As of this date she's open - so free to be bred to the stallion of your choice or to be sent back into training to have a riding pony.

Ebony's ground manners are superb - grooming, worming, farrier, etc... She does get very protective with her foal the first couple of days, but then settles fine. Under saddle she was still green, though did ok on a couple of group trail rides we did with her prior to breeding. She stables or pastures and is mid-herd in our pecking order.

She is up to date with worming and shots (EWT + WNV), but would need a new coggins if the buyer wants one or is out of state.

We can deliver within 5 hours (one way) of our farm. We can also accept credit cards via paypal.

Feel free to e-mail with any questions - or come to our farm to see the two of them in person.
