Color Me Curly! is dedicated to breeding for the 3 C's of curly horses. Color, conformation, and curl! There are so many curly horses out there, but not enough with a lot of color. Pinto's are even harder to find. That's why we are dedicated to breeding the best horses, to try for the best colors, and of course, curls and conformation do count! I'm a OK Peso is a beautiful 1996 sabino smooth-coated curly mare. She is ABCR S-462, and is DNA tested. Peso stands 14.2hh, and has a nice old-style QH build. She has a big hip, which she passes on to her foals, and a kind eye. She has been used all of her life as a broodmare. She could still be a nice riding horse, but she has produced such nice foals that her original breeder never took the time to train her to ride. Peso does have excellent ground manners, and stands very well for the vet and farrier. She leads anywhere, loads into a 2 horse trailer easily, and is very easy-going. She's a proven broodmare, and throws tall white socks and a blaze on every foal she has. They are also very curly. She has not produced a straight foal for us ever. Peso is currently in foal to MCH Buddy, a dun appy curly stallion, for 2012. This is your chance to get a very good deal on a quality curly 2-in1 package. Peso is being offered for $1500 to a great home only. A lease is also available on this mare; just ask!

BeBe is a very stocky draft/curly filly, out of our draft mare Dolly, and by a curly stallion named FFS MacSimitar Legacy. BeBe was born on April 11, 2009 and was too tall to figure out "how" to bend under to nurse, so she was fed from a bowl for the first few days of her life. Hence her nickname "Bowl Baby", aka BeBe. She is very friendly & curious, and spends her days racing around the fields with her half-brother Tre. BeBe should mature around 14.2hh and at least 1200lbs. She is VERY stocky, even as a one month old filly. BeBe is halter trained & will load, stand tied, and stand for vetting/farrier work. She's perfect, and stands square already; this gorgeous filly is ready for the showring or hunter/jumper.
