She is not spooky and has been ridden around traffic.

Goes where you point her, and doesn't mind if she's ridden anywhere in the pack. She stays calm and quiet in most situations. SOLD!
Fancy, Bay Roan Walkaloosa For Sale in Indiana
SOLD!
$ 700
Fancy is 1/2 Appaloosa, 1/2 MFT mare, well gaited, seems to prefer a foxtrot but will run walk if ridden in a curb bit. Not pacy!

Well trained but spoiled....... some idiot obviously interested in only making a sale placed her in the hands of complete novices who would, in their own words "ride her until she'd act up, then we'd get off".

Needless to say, their rides got shorter & shorter!

She is a bit on the "over-trained" side....... will pivot on hindquarters, do a turn on the forehand, turn completely with leg cues, neck rein on a time, backs nicely and will park out under saddle. She's very sensitive to her cues and responds very quickly.

I bought her to resell, with hopes that she would be a quick fix to get her mellowed out where I could then place her in a suitable home, but she is going to take more time than I wish to put into her.

So, I will offer her cheaply to the right home. The right home must be an experienced rider with confidence and a soft hand. She is a good girl, she just has learned that you can buffalo riders into getting off, at which point you get turned out into a knee deep pasture with your buddy :-)

She has excellent ground manners, stands quietly for the farrier, comes when called, loads easily and backs out of a trailer, stands quietly for flyspray and electric clippers.

She is also an easy keeper and stays in good flesh with no grain.

Fancy is 10 years old and 14.3 hands tall. She is very agile & very athletic and underneath the habit of buffalo-ing people she is very eager to please......the second you ask, she is giving 110 percent.

$1200 will buy her if they take her soon ~ if I keep working with her the price will increase.

She is eligible for registry with the Walkaloosa Assn. I have the paperwork necessary to register her.

She can also be bred to my world champion MFT stallion if buyer wishes.
(details)
Lad's Lady Airborne, Sorrel Missouri Fox Trotter For Sale in Indiana
$ 2,200 (OBO)
Arielle is an excellent, non-spooky ride for a person with enough confidence to handle a mare with a big motor.

She has been shown succesfully in Ava, trail ridden throughout IN and KY, been to cattle working clinics, and raised several high quality foals, the last of which is being entered in the 2010 3 year old futurity.

She is a big horse in a little package, with heart & grit that does not know the meaning of quit.

She is most relaxed on the trails, crosses creeks, bridges, one of those "smart" horses that know how to maneuver around trees without taking your knees off.

In an arena, she tends to be on high alert, waiting anxiously for that next cue. She sidepasses, pivots on hind quarters, works off leg pressure, backs, etc.

She does have a fantastic foxtrot, with a nice reachy front end, but when she gets all excited & wound up will get pacy/prancy.

She is current on vaccinations and farrier work. Easy to catch, load, bathe, shoe, clip, flyspray, etc.

Good home a must!! (details)
SOLD!
Tess's Baby Rachael-CHR, Palomino Roan Missouri Fox Trotter For Sale in Indiana
SOLD!
$ 1,200 (Negotiable)
Tess is 16 hands, with stocky build and nice disposition and conformation.

She has had a lot of riding times, and rides pretty well, will back & sidepass.

She is a true roan, although the roan gene does not display well on palomino.

She is sweet...likes brushings and attention, is easy to pick up her feet and has shown no inclination to buck, rear or kick, or anything at all hateful or mean, but...! (Don't you just love buts?) She is scared of many things, it's as if she was broke to ride but they skipped a lot of things in ground work training. She has gotten a lot better than she was when I first got her in Feb, but has a long way to go.

Her gait... she had a really good foxtrot, although a bit too high knee action for a good show horse, but I can't seem to get her to do anything but pace lately. I will try to get some video of her under saddle.

She might be in foal to my Cast Iron Wizard horse...we have an appt June 15 to find out for sure. If she is not, she definately can be bred to him again and we'll make sure she settles before she leaves. With this cross, there is a 50% chance of a true roan foal, with buckskin roan being a possiblity.

One more thing.....her face is asymetrical. Former owner said she was that way when his deceased father purchased her for $3500 as a 4 year old, and they think she had gotten kicked by another horse. With her fears, I suspect perhaps she got hit upside the head by a human.

She is a very easy keeper, and finally getting to where she will come up seeking attention in a large pasture ( I had trouble catching her in a STALL when I first got her, if this gives a hint of how well she really is responding to kind & consistant handling)

A good home is a must~ make me an offer~ I might be agreeable to any number of things including an arrangement where I get the foal she is (hopefully) carrying, or a trade....or....??

thanks for reading this through. Check out the black stud she's in foal to on my website.

(details)
