PRICE REDUCED! Iron Champagne (barn name ''Punk'') is a lovely, 7-year old Spotted Saddle Horse. She is tripled registered Spotted Saddle Horse, Tennessee Walking Horse and Spotted Mountain Horse. For the last registry, a video tape had to be sent in to prove she has a solid 4-beat gait under saddle. Breed her to a Rocky and get a Spotted Mountain Horse foal. She absolutely adores people and trusts people. She doesn't mind little kids brushing her (loves the attention) - had 4 brushing her at one time - ages 7 and under. She loved it. Easy to catch - comes when called. She is field boarded. Loads. She has no vices. She doesn't even flinch when she gets shots. Her gait is mostly a even 4-beat rack, but she every so often does a super smooth as glass running walk. She can do both these gaits barefoot. I shoe her on the front during riding season, and barefoot during winter - but will ride in the winter if warm enough. She gaits just the same as when shod. Her gait is bred in, not nailed on. She can hit a good clip in gait. She has never been bred. Very sound. Great ground manners. Trail ridden exclusively. Could be shown. I have a phobia of the show ring. She would make someone a great ring riding horse - she likes the ring (I don't). She has never bit, kicked, reared, bucked, nor done a runaway the entire time I've had her. She does prefer to follow than lead. I purchased Punk as a 2 year old, and started her myself when she turned 3 - never bucked, bolted or misbehaved from day one on her back. Took it all in stride. Punk crosses everything on the trails - water, logs, wooden bridges, busy roads, etc.. Very suitable for a bold teenager or intermediate adult. Please e-mail for additional photos or questions.
