Shake Rattle and Roll, Bay Tobiano Tennessee Walking Horse For Sale in Kentucky
$ 5,500
Check out www.adamshorseandmuleco.com for more pics and video’s. Shake Rattle and Roll (AKA Shaker) is a 15.1hh, 9 yr old, Bay Tobiano Gelding. He is a registered Pleasure Saddle Horse and has a good pedigree. We sold Shaker over 4 years ago to a family here in Kentucky. They bought him for their 8 year old daughter to trail ride. Sense owning Shaker she has trail rode him hundreds of miles throughout Eastern Kentucky and has never had any problems out of him. She has shown him numerous times in pleasure classes and won lots of ribbons. We saw her and her family on a trail ride back in October and her dad told Jay that all of his daughters friends had gotten into riding gaited mules and that his daughter didn’t want to be the lone wolf riding a horse… Being a daddy’s girl she always gets what she wants and sense she got her new gaited mule 3 months ago, she hadn’t ridden Shaker much and they had decided to sell Shaker. We brought Shaker back home with us and he is as good if not better than he ever was with a whole lot more miles on him now. Shaker is easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle. Shaker is gentle and safe for a confident beginner to ride although a lot of beginners will get along with him just fine. He is willing to walk but will move out easily. He has a natural runwalking gait and will also Rack! He is always super smooth regardless of the rider! Shaker has had 2 months of professional gaiting, trail and bombproof training. He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. Just like everything we say about our horses, we have the videos to prove it, make sure to take a look at those on our website. No matter where he goes or what he does, Shaker is not spooky acting. On the trails he is always great! Shaker has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He has been rode in traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks. He has a great personality and a great attitude about whatever he is asked to do. Shake Rattle and Roll on down the trail!!! Feel free to call me with any questions. (details)

Charger's Pulling Loose, Dapple Grey Roan Tennessee Walking Horse For Sale in Kentucky
$ 5,500
Check out www.adamshorseandmuleco.com for more pics and video’s. Charger’s Pulling Loose (AKA Dallas) is a 15.1hh, 9 yr old, Grey Roan Gelding. He is a registered TWHBEA and has a good pedigree that includes great horses such as Eb’s Black Charger and Pusher’s Busting Loose! Dallas came to us from a Mike and Nancy in Missouri, that had owned him for several years. They have trail ridden hundreds of miles on Dallas and been on several camping trips as well. Mike had always wanted a gaited mule, with grey being one of his favorite colors, he saw Bubba, a dapple grey mule, on our website and on the spur of the moment decided that he had to have him! We made a trade over the phone pending their inspection of Bubba and when they came out and saw how nice Bubba was that sealed the deal. While Mike and Nancy was here they told me all about Dallas and how nice of a horse that he really was and Mike said to me “I’m stupid for getting rid of this horse because he is great but I have always wanted a gaited mule…” you only live once so why not go for it. I asked them to email me a quick rundown of who Dallas was and what their opinion on him was and this is the email that they sent me:
“If you want a companion to trail riding or go into a show ring you have that with Dallas. He has the smoothest gaits and plenty of bling with his looks. Dallas can walk with non-gaited horses and pick up the pace with an extremely smooth flat walk with gaited horses. He is happy in front, middle, or rear of other horses on the trail. He loves to be groomed and pampered as he is sweet and loving. He has been extensively trail ridden, goes over logs, crosses rivers up to his belly, up and down steep trails, just point and go and he is very surefooted. He is very good with the farrier for trims and setting of shoes. Eric, Dallas is such a lovely horse not just in beauty but in disposition.
I hope this helps. Nancy”
Dallas is easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle. Dallas is gentle and safe for a confident beginner to ride although a lot of beginners will get along with him just fine. He is willing to walk but will move out easily. He has a natural runwalking gait and will also Rack! He is always super smooth regardless of the rider! Check out www.adamshorseandmuleco.com for more pics and multiple video’s under harness. Thelma and Louise is a very well built, 15.3hh, pair of full sister molly mules, weighing approx. 2600lbs, ages 10 and 11. They have been owned sense they were just colts by a local gentleman that is now in his mid 80’s. He had decided that as age had crept up on him and with his balance problem getting worst that he would sell both of his pairs of mules and horses. He has worked them around the farm with various implements including hay rakes and plows, had them in multiple parades, and went wagoning on the weekends. On several years at Halloween, he even used them at a local farm to give the kids a wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch. Thelma and Louise are a very well broke pair of driving mules and are safe for a novice driver and handler. They handle easy, are easy to harness, stand patiently in harness, no problem to bridle, easy to handle their feet and are easy to catch. They are traffic safe, trail safe for all terrains and don’t get in any hurry. They are a great team for a weekend driver just wanting to take a enjoyable stroll or tough enough to pull any farm implements. They would be a great plantation team and remain calm around gun fire and dogs. They have lots of experience and still have plenty of good years left in them! You can take a look at several of the videos to see them in traffic, crossing the creek, various driving videos and shooting a pistol from the cart. Feel free to call me with any questions. (details)
Bubba Gump GAITED MULE!!!, Dapple Grey Tennessee Walking Horse For Sale in Kentucky
$ 4,500
Check out www.adamshorseandmuleco.com for more pics and video’s. Bubba Gump (AKA Bubba) is a stocky built, 15.2hh, 6 yr old, Dapple Grey Gelding/John Mule. We have owned Bubba for several months and he has been a pleasure to work with! Jay has taken Bubba many nights out coon hunting and has ridden him in the woods and through the mountains all in the pitch black dark for a total of about 50 hours in the last few months! He has led as many as 5 coon hounds at a time off of Bubba, and of course the dogs would run underneath Bubba or get their leash wrapped or tangled around his legs, which never excited Bubba! Jay said that he had ridden Bubba “Over the side of mountains as steep as a witch’s nose” and put Bubba in situations where that “You had a mountain going straight up on your left and a drop off of 150 feet to your right, all we had to ride on was a shallow washed out ditch that the rain had left” and Bubba always took his time, being extra cautious in tight places especially in the dark. Even when his fellow hunters, being too scared to ride, got off of their horses and led them along those rough and rocky paths, Jay would just ride on, laughing and poke fun and say “Get you a mule boys! Bubba Gump, take me home!” Jay said “Bubba is one mule that you don’t want to point at something unless you intend to ride over it because he will attempt any obstacle that you ask of him!” We recently took Bubba to a local fun show and entered Bubba in the balloon pop class, competing against much quicker and faster quarter horses, I was sure that Jay would get his balloons popped quickly and be eliminated but Jays tactic was to sit and wait… as everyone would come running up on their horses to pop the balloons that hung off of Bubba Jay would lean way over and grab their balloons as they went by while defending his own. Great strategy, Jay won that one! Later Jay’s 4 year old son, Jacob, wanted to ride the shovel around the ring in the shovel race which is a timed event where a person sits on the business end of a shovel and rides it around the ring, while the handle is tied to a 20 foot long rope, which is tied to the saddle horn. Jay got Jacob situated on the shovel while Bubba waited patiently in the ring. Jay got on Bubba eased him around the ring in a slow gait while Jacob held on, Jay moved Bubba on out into a canter for the final turn and when they finished about 20 seconds behind all the other competitors, everyone in attendance roared with applause for Jacob and Jacob was swelled up with pride that he rode that shovel in the race! Bubba is easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle. Bubba is as gentle as any mule that we have had and if you know anything at all about mules you should be able to get along with him just fine! Bubba will flatfoot walk slowly or move on out when told. He has a natural runwalking gait where he will shake his head and flap his ears and a nice Racking up to 8mph, past that he has a really nice short lope canter. If you were to get the notion to take a Sunday drive, Bubba will hook and work under harness perfectly! Bubba has had 3 months of professional gaiting, trail and bombproof training. He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. Just like everything we say about our horses, we have the videos to prove it, make sure to take a look at those on our website. No matter where he goes or what he does, Bubba not spooky acting.
