Ivory has had 2 homes including us. All of his background has been trail riding & he has encountered many types of terrain - from steep to flat land. He is as solid & steady as a horse could be - he will get you to where you want to travel carefully negotiating his footing. He does not trip or stumble, is very surefooted and careful, & gaits naturally smooth on a keg shoe. He also gaits silky smooth barefoot and you can view videos of that as well as other trail and gaiting videos of Ivory on the website. Ivory meets us at the gate & gets along perfectly with his pasture mates. He shoes - trailers - grooms - bathes- clips with no problems.
