Raider is an unregistered loud leopard appaloosa. He has racing greats on the top and bottom (Dash For Cash on top, and Scooter Bug G somewhere on the bottom) - though he'd rather plod along than race!<br><br>He's is a relatively calm boy with a huge hind end and long legs. I ride western and have found that he will go through, over, around or under anything that you put him towards. On occasion he'll put up a fuss with being caught, but will stand very patiently while he's tended to - absolutely loves attention. Raider is more on the bottom of the pecking pole in the herd, but he's also the only gelding. <br><br>While he has a long flowing mane, he was out somewhere else when they handed out tails and ended up with a small tuff of tail hair. He trailers alright, though at times is a bit stubborn with loading and is pretty good with the farrier. He had a 30 day refresher in 2009 and has been ridden on trails and through the Kootenay bush. <br><br>I don't put shoes on my horses, so he's been barefoot trimmed and ridden since have got him. His feet do crack, but don't slow him down or hinder his movement while riding. <br><br>Let me know if you are interested in Raider, he's a really nice guy, sensative, yet sensible. I have a modified 2 horse trailer. It has escape doors on either side of the feeders for easy exits. The centre divider has been taken out, but slots are left for it to be put back in. It has a single swinging door in the back. The tack room is very large. It has openings to each of the feeders from inside the tack room. 2 saddles can be stored under the feeders. There is enough room to sleep 2 people rather comfortably on the floor along with bags and gear. Floor boards have been replaced with new, new interior paint (white), new lights, new brakes, new wiring, new tires. Let me know if have any questions. Thanks for looking!
