NOTE: These pics were taken in January so it goes without saying, Joker has his thick winter coat on. He slicks off BEAUTIFULLY in the spring:))<br><br>Joker is a super gentle, even tempered AQHA reg., 15 hands tall, lineback dun gelding. He was foaled on Feb, 18, 1992 and has Triple H & King bloodlines. Joker is a former team-penning horse who has retired from his career and is looking for his forever home where he will be trail ridden, possibly help beginners learn to ride or possibly perform light ranch/cattle work. One thing is for sure!!! Joker MUST go to a good home where he will be loved and properly cared for. The last time Joker competed in team-penning was in 2008 in Lexington, TN where he competed against approximately 35-40 other teams and Joker and his partner walked away with 2nd place:)) Joker has been used extensively for trailriding, teaching beginners to ride and has been lead with small children on his back. He is however NOT a total deadhead. He is very good tempered and cooperative and is not a spirited or high strung horse. If you want to go on a slow paced relaxing ride, he is happy to walk or slow trot all day. Joker has an amazingly smooth slow jog trot that makes for a very comfortable, relaxing ride:)) However, if you want to canter or get into a full run, Joker will get up and go with the best of them:)) He neckreins, turns on a dime, backs, loads, ties and stands for farrier like a dream:) He is very easy to handle and comes when called in the pasture.
