Bandit is a puppy dog in a horses body. In all my years of training I've never met a horse so eager and willing to learn, with the ability to learn as well. He's very smart and talented. I started working with him about a year ago now, and he's come so incredibly far in a short period. <br><br>Ideally, I would like to see him go to a relatively experienced rider to keep him progressing in his training. He's not finished yet, but he's getting there. He needs a strong, yet soft rider in order to bring out the best of him. His flat work is impeccable; auto upward and downward transitions. B/c he has a foundation training of dressage, he takes soft hands, steady seat, and firm legs to keep him framed up. <br><br>I know Bandit would do well in western pleasure too. He's very soft in the mouth and has a strong back and naturally low head set. <br><br> His jumping is coming along beautifully; we are starting to raise fences to 2'6"-3' and jumping some oxers. He's showing aptitude and eagerness for the fences; along with being really scopey, and athletic. FOR OVER the bigger fences he needs an experience rider who can keep the connection and not fall down over his shoulder. <br><br>Bandit is very competitive. His first show he swept the competition, kept a level head. For every show after that he has received either Grand or Reserve Champion. <br><br>Any one can hop on him and he'll take care of them but he needs a calm, steady, confident rider to keep him excelling. <br><br>I took him camping for a week and he was really brave with hardly any spooks. And when he did look at something, if you remain steady, he gets over it really fast. He's never lost his head with me. He's an amazing horse with amazing potential to go very far. <br>
