Strider is so non-spooky that he has been our #1 horse for PARADES where he was dressed up in Medieval/Renaissance costumes and did not shy or spook at anything in the parade; Strider has been used on hundreds of miles of trails for beginner riders as young as 16 years who have never ridden. He is wonderfully-gaited and is even smooth in his regular trot. No buck,rear or bolt with this big gentle boy. He is perfect for all shoeing, vets, loading, bathing, etc. He is in perfect health and is pedigreed as well for those of you wishing to use him for shows. Gorgeous and level-headed 15.2 hh, 5 years old, 3/4 Arabian, 1/4 Saddlebred, paint gelding. He has been extensively handled since a weanling and is very sane and sensible. He has done Parelli natural horsemanship level one and has also been taught to bow. Professionally started under saddle for three full months by a reputable trainer in the area and has no stable vices or bad habits. Can be ridden English or Western. He is a brave, sure-footed trail horse who goes over ditches, logs, small wooden bridges and loves it! Likes to jump too! He goes in front or in the back with or without friends. Very easy going and easy to handle, not spooky. He is currently used as an adult beginner lesson horse and is being desensitized for extensive trail rides. Learning how to work in a rounded frame and has good concentration and a nice sensitive snaffle mouth. Very easy to straighten and bend with the legs. He has beautiful, flowing movement that is naturally balanced with a ground-covering stride. Very comfortable, smooth to ride. Will make a wonderful show horse and is already a super trail horse.
