PetieAteHisWheaties (a.k.a Pete) is a 17.3 hh sorrel Thoroughbred gelding. He has been part of the family for the last couple years. Pete has tons of show experience that includes eventing, stadium jumping, and fox hunting. He may be a big boy, but he is extremely quick and covers the ground steady. Pete has been used as a beginning and advanced riding lesson horse for a little over a year. He has kept each rider, beginner or advanced, safe and confident in the saddle. Pete stalls, loads, hauls, clips, bathes, ties, crossties, and is a very well behaved horse in the pasture. In contrast to his tall intimidating body, Pete is the most loving gentle horse I have known. I would have a million of him if I could, but Pete needs a home that he is loved and rode on a consistent basis. I am futuring my career in college and am working full time and have to cut back on my horse riding. I will terribly miss Pete, but he will make a great addition to a lesson or show barn. Goober showed last year with East Tennessee Hunter Jumper Association and placed 8th in the Long Stirrup division with just a few shows to accummulate points... VERY PROUD!! There are 28 beautiful creek fed acres for pasture board, trail, and exercise. There will be cross country jumps in the pastures and movable stadium jumps in front pasture. Pasture board includes blanketing, hay, water, and 24 hour surveillance!! If grain is provided for the horse by their owner, then we will feed the horse the amount specified by owner. Intelligent horse loving people will take care of your horse with the best of care and with everything for the horse in mind. Pasture board is $100 a month. I'm 20 years old and I have about 18 years of riding experience. Anything from western pleasure to eventing and dressage...I can do!!! I have been on a variety of horses and can handle just about everything. I am a calm rider and take my time with problems with the horse. I can do services like saddle and bridle breaking and starting a horse. I offer training either at your facility or at my own (which includes training and board with a discounted rate). I have great creditials and references that can ease any worries or questions. I am available depending on my work schedule, but I always have time. I love working with horses and really love to learn new things and let my knowledge help the horses and their owners connect.
