Horses for Sale/Stud/Lease/Wanted
Bi Mi Hollywood Premier...aka..."Hollywood", Bright Chestnut American Saddlebred For Sale in Tennessee
$ 4,500
If you are looking for a talented, handsome CLOWN, this is the horse for you.

Four white socks, white stripe, and loads of silky red mane and tail; Hollywood is just simply BEAUTIFUL. He has a tremendous heart and mind... and I swear to God, that horse was a comedian in another life.

He has been handled from day one, and has a the most wonderful personality. His attitude is first and foremost "I'll Try...." then it often changes to "Well...I have better idea..." and then the fun begins.

For anyone in any natural horsemanship program, Hollywood has been started out right.... with lots of emphasis placed on building his relationship with people in a trusting and loving environment, as well as helping him to become a confident learner. He does not have your typical Saddlebred "showhorse" baggage....but then again, we don't raise "showhorses" here..... we cultivate relationships.

With his movement and attitude, Hollywood is very capable of excelling in any discipline because there is no doubt that he'll be putting his heart into it. He's got lots of "Go Forward" and really likes jumping logs and barrels in our arena, though currently all of his jumping exercises are done with me on the ground.

No, he's not been "started" yet, in the traditional sense. And it's not his fault; With family illness and injury, well... time got away from me. But please don't let that keep you from taking a closer look at him. He has SO much promise. I have ridden him bareback with only a halter and leadrope in our arena, and he is making great progess thus far.

For those of you that keep your finger on the "pulse" of the Saddlebred world, Hollywood is half brother to up and coming sire, Bora Bora; they both share the wonderful dam, Mia's Time, whom we owned until she passed away from a massive stroke at the age of 24. She was a huge mare with tremendous bone structure and a world of personality. Hollywood's sire, Bi Mi World Premier, was an amazing stallion in his day; the absence of both sire and dam will be deeply missed. Hollywood is an exceptional tribute to the genetics of that amazing stallion and a wonderfully well-bred mare.

We do not get into a hurry with our horses ( although I sure did not intend on "not hurrying" this length of time with him...oops ), instead, relying on their individual natures to guide us with what is best for each one of them. He is the type of horse that wants guidance and leadership, although he often thinks otherwise. He has a TREMENDOUS play drive that often causes "laughable frustration." I've long since quit being mad at Hollywood for this; that horse just can't help his silliness!

Hollywood is very willing to give lateral flexion... with only a halter and lead so far... and responds to the most subtle cues for hindquarter disengagements to the left and right, backing up, and moving his shoulders over in either direction. This is a wonderful and willing horse...provided you can keep his attention, of course; it is going to be so easy bringing him along from this point forward in the right hands. I have no doubt that by the time he is wearing a saddle and bridle, it'll be "no big deal." That's just the way he looks at life...

Hollywood is all about "forward energy"...it starts out in his brain and then goes straight to his legs, then does an "endless loop" all day long. That being said, he's going to be the one horse in the group that would rather be at the front than at the back! He is that way in the pasture ~ always "busy" and on the lookout; always the first one to go and "check things out". His inquisitive and engaging nature will sure make for a great partner, whether you are on a trail or racing around on the endurance course. If there is somewhere to "go", Hollywood is going to be the one to want to get there!

Hollywood has a deep, wide chest with tremendous shoulders and hindquarters. His legs are placed squarely underneath him; he is not narrow in the hocks. His back might be a little "long" for you dressage folks, according to some opinions, but he is definitely suitable for the hunter/jumper discipline and has the size and strength to do the distance.

And please...if you are a dressage rider, please do NOT email me asking for a thousand measurements on him; he is not perfect. You are more than welcome to come and measure him yourself; I'll even provide you with a measuring tape.

We are very specific to whom our horses are sold to, and would rather keep them with us as to have them go to a questionable home. We will ask you personal questions regarding your finances, dedication and commitment levels, references, riding and horse experience, training philosophy, and anything else that we feel is important on behalf of our horses. We may even come to check out your farm to make sure it is suitable. If you are not willing to provide that type of information, please do not contact us.

***Also...please view the other horses that we have for sale on Horsetopia:

Tinseltown Showgun ( SOLD!!!)
Harlem's Dapper Dann
Debonaire Affaire
Apollo MIS (SOLD!!!)

(details)
Debonaire Affaire..."Debon", Black Bay American Saddlebred For Sale in Tennessee
$ 4,500
Debon is an incredibly handsome gelding that has just the right build for any discipline... most especially dressage...and he's got a simply wonderful disposition to boot.

The product of a sire who carries a record 22 Broodmare Hall of Fame dams to his pedigree, and a well-bred Fine Harness dam who carries 12, this young horse has all the bloodlines of a champion, regardless of the discipline you choose to direct him in. He carries 13 Broodmare Hall of Fame dams in his 5-genereation pedigree, just like his full-sister, Harlem's Butterfly Kiss, whom we are retaining as a broodmare prospect down the road. Got to keep those great genetics going!!!

Debon has a gorgeous swan neck, beautiful, wide-set soulfull eyes, and is the spitting image of his sire in conformation. He moves with a gracefull elegance and power that quickly reminds us of the astonishing natural movement of his mother, and it is easy to see why she attained the many championships that she did. We expect no less from this young man. Debon is the perfect combination of these genetics. He is going to be quite tall ~ already passing the 15.3H mark....and still growning! He is sensible, sweet and very eager to learn new things.

Our farm is NOT a typical or "traditional" Saddlebred farm.....therefore, we do not train our horses in the "traditional" way. Our horses are not standing around in stalls all day long. They have the luxury of lush pastures and the company of both horses and humans to interact with each and every day. They are not "trained" using fear and intimidation techniques. We do not start our horses until they are both mentally and physically ready.

Debon is just now getting to that point where he can move forward in his training. With the rapid growth that he has been experiencing, we had no intention of straining tendons and ligaments, and have simply worked on ground skills, confidence, and lots and lots of praise for a young horse that tries so very hard to please. Handled from day-one using only natural horsemanship techniques, he is easy to handle, loves attention, and enjoys the company of people tremendously.

We would love for you to come by and visit ~ just make sure that you bring Debon's favorite treat~ a handful of PEPPERMINTS! We also have several other horses available, so please do not hesitate to inquire. We also have a website available and will be happy to furnish that information upon request.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read about Debon. He is truly a wonderful young horse that will easily find his way into your heart....hopefully for the rest of his life!

If you are a dressage rider, please do NOT email me asking for a thousand measurements on him; he is not perfect. You are more than welcome to come and measure him yourself; I'll even provide you with a measuring tape.

We are very specific to whom our horses are sold to, and would rather keep them with us as to have them go to a questionable home. Harlem's Dapper Dann, Blood Bay American Saddlebred For Sale in Tennessee
$ 4,500
With a sire carrying a whopping 22 Broodmare Hall of Fame dams to his pedigree, and an amazingly bred dam that carries an impressive 15, this young gelding has POTENTIAL....you just pick the discipline. With plenty of size and structure, this is not a lightly built young horse and he will have plenty of power..not to mention heart....to go wherever you want him to go.

Dapper Dann has the lovely "Fabio" locks of his sire. His black, chocolate, chestnut, and yes..even some BLONDE... mane is almost 20" long and his forelock is halfway down his nose. We lovingly call him our "Surfer Boy," with his touseled, wavy, beachcomber hair. He has a lovely, willing and gentle spirit that is going to make him so easy to train. Handled since birth using only natural horsemanship techniques, he's happy and comfortable being handled and loves, loves, loves attention!

Both his sire and dam are beautiful movers. Dapper Dann exhibits the conformational traits that will most certainly make him a very smooth horse to ride...regardless of the gait. He has a beautifully arched neck and just the most gorgeous head. With his wide-set deep chocolate eyes, you can immediately tell that there is A LOT going on in this horse's mind.

Dapper Dann has not been started yet, in the "traditional" sense. I have spent a lot of time with him on the ground using different natural horsemanship methods. Because he is doing so wondefully and making such progress, we are soon to be moving on to getting him under saddle this Spring.

Dapper Dann has a shorter back and a thicker bone structure than many of our other horses. He has nice shoulder placement and well-developed hindquarters. He is going to be a powerful mover. His neck is very well placed, and his head is gorgeous. He moves very squarely and keeps himself naturally collected. His hooves are solid and sound, and he has well developed frogs. He is barefoot, and we are religious in our trimming regimen. We believe that has helped all our horses to have better conditioned and well developed hooves.

We're not your typical Saddlebred farm, and strive to raise confident athletic horses using some of the best "Old-World" Bloodlines. We love to have visitors, so come on by and see this wonderful young man ~ you won't be disappointed! And if you can't come by, we'll be more than happy to send you some video.

If you are a dressage rider, please do NOT email me asking for a thousand measurements on him; he is not perfect. You are more than welcome to come and measure him yourself, and I'll even provide you with a measuring tape.

We are very specific to whom our horses are sold to, and would rather keep them with us as to have them go to a questionable home.
