He has had ground training; bending, flexing, moving from pressure, disengaging front and hind end. John Marquez has worked on his saddle work. John has focused on moving out, bending at the neck and rib cage, disengaging the hips and shoulders, stopping and backing. Colonel has had around 20 rides; he has never bucked, scooted or hopped. A very curious colt that has not shown any studiness, very friendly, goes with the flow and concentrates on what you are asking on him. He is currently being ridden in a bosal and will advance into a snaffle. Colonel is eligible for NCHA Super Stakes, the Breeders Invitational and NRCHA Reined Cow Horse Stakes.
