Misty is a solid and reliable trail horse. She was started under saddle at 3 1/2 years and has been used for the occasional trail and ring horse when not raising a foal. She is smart and willing and will be uncomplicated to "finish". She is tall and stout enough to carry a tall or heavy rider and her trot is the smoothest I've ridden in an non-gaited horse. Not bred for 2009 or 2010 as we want to ride her!

I haven't marketed this mare as a pony as I wanted to certain she wouldn't mature larger than pony size. As a 3 year old she stick measures 14 hands + 1/2 inch; the same height she was back in September. She may grow a little more but it won't be much. *Grace is an ideal choice for someone looking to add some sportiness and refinement to their pony breeding program. She is very well conformed with a nice long neck, good sloping shoulder and a short, strong back; traits which she has inherited from both of her parents and which we feel she will go on to reproduce consistently.
