Up for sale is our beautiful gray brood mare “Sugar”. She is perhaps one off the best brood mare Tennessee Walkers in the country. Sugar was born and raised at Secret Farms in Cleveland, Tennessee where she gave birth to 5 beautiful Foals. Each of her first 4 foals sold for $5000 each. The 5th in a down market was sold for $2000. Her babies have proven to be of World Class Quality. In Aug.,2007, Sugar was relocated to Mountain Springs Ranch located in the mountains of Southwestern Pennsylvania.. Here at Mountain Springs Ranch, we have had the good fortune of having 2 additional foals from Sugar, making 7 foals in total. We still have Sugar’s 2 foals for your inspection. Come see for yourself the quality of her offspring. We have made the decision to significantly downsize and get out of the breeding business. I am now 73 and we have decided that we are getting a little too old to continue breeding. My wife and I do, however, adore the babies. We are going to keep our World Class Blue Roan Stallion “Pusher’s Slew of Blue, “Push” as we call him. Whoever buys our brood mare Sugar, come next spring, they will have the opportunity to breed Sugar, at a discount, to our Blue Roan Stallion Push. Sugar has only ever been bred to our stallion. We purchased Sugar and our stallion Push from the same owner in Southern Tennessee. Sugar’s pedigree reads like who’s who in American Tennessee Walkers as does our Stallion. Pusher's Slew Of Blue, Blue Roan Tennessee Walking Horse For Stud in Pennsylvania

Pusher's Slew Of Blue (Push) is one of just a few TWH blue roan stallions standing today. His pedigree is unsurpassed, being sired by the World Grand Champion (WGC) Blue Roan Stallion "The Pusher C.G." and out of a Gll's Carbon Copy (WGC) mare. Push stands a true 15.2 hands barefoot, is loaded with natural ability and class which is being seen in his foals. Push has a smart and responsive attitude with a big motor, yet is calm enough for small children to handle. He is widely known throughout Tennessee Walker breeding circles, and has sired 75 registered Tennessee Walker foals. Just recently (7/18/11) Push's 5th Blue Roan baby in a row was born - a beautiful little filly Bonnie Blue. Bonnie Blue instantly exhibited her Daddy's outstanding qualities including his wonderful gentle temperament. We were fortunate enough to witness Bonnie Blue's birth and the little filly instantly became attached, even walking over on her wobbly legs to say Hello!!!! What a gift. She will be Push's 76th registered baby. Push has both a Tennessee Walker and a Racking Horse registration. He has unbelieveably beautiful gaits. Of Push's last 18 foals (since DNA was instituted),14 were Roans. As mentioned, the last 5 were Blue Roans (we have 3 of them). We believe Push to be very dominant in his offspring. That is the only explanation for such a high percentage of Roan offspring. Push was previously owned and stood at stud at Secret Farms in Southern Tennessee where he gained an excellent reputation as a wonderful, extremely gentle breeding Stallion. In April of 2008, Push was relocated here to Mountain Springs Ranch in Addison, Pennsylvania; a Southwestern Pennsylvania home to quality pure bred registered Tennessee Walkers. We can't say enough about Push's calm and gentle nature. He loves people and will nuzzle with you and your children all day long. Of our three blue roan fillies out of Push, 2 were foaled the spring of 2008 . All our little girls look just like their Daddy with the solid blue roan color (absolutely gorgeous). They are all gaited, just like their Daddy (their racking gaits are unbelievable!!). We feel blessed to have 3 such beautiful blue roan fillies. But, it is Push who gave us such wonderful sweet tempered fillies.
