Tammie's Black Shadow, Black Missouri Fox Trotter For Sale in Texas

Shadow is a registered true black mare with a pretty head and great conformation. She has a "fantasy horse" look about her that we love and is just gorgeous under saddle...no exaggeration. She has won in model and performance classes in 2008 in Texas, but we mainly use her for trail riding. She is athletic and can go all day; she LOVES the trail and is happy to get out and go riding. She is not spooky and is very smart. Shadow has been on all the trails at Ray Roberts State Park and also traveled to the LBJ Grasslands. She is very easy to load, worm, shoe, give shots, etc. She fox trots and has a very nice flat walk. She also has a balanced lope. Shadow needs some riding to get consistent in her gaits, but this should not be difficult with some regular weekly riding. We raised one colt from her this past year and he sold immediately. He was HZ Black and you couldn't ask for a better all-around colt in terms of personality, brains and looks. He is a stud prospect for another MFT farm.<br><br>We have owned Shadow for three years and have recently purchased premium breeding stock from Missouri with bloodlines we were looking for, so we are needing to sell some horses pretty quickly.
